Ron Heyboer's visit
Hello fellow Brothers and Sisters in Christ
I would again like to give your Church the opportunity to be blessed and challenged by meeting with a man much used of God. He is a real inspiration to listen to - you will not be disappointed!
Ronny has a real passion for the Lord. God has given him a vision to build the Living Waters Village in the jungles of Borneo.
(see http://www.wouk.org/ministry/living_waters.php for further information.) It is well under construction, and when finished, it will accommodate 1000 jungle orphans in a place of safety where they can live, learn and be loved and cared for under the ministry of the gospel.
His visit to the UK is aimed at spreading awareness for the project, preaching the Good News of Jesus Christ and testifying to God’s goodness to them all in Borneo. There will also be information for anyone who would like to support the ministry in any way by prayer, financial or practical support.
We at Green Pastures are having Ron share his work with us at the Caister youth and community centre on Wed 28th May at 7-0pm, all are invited to come and be enthused and blessed, hearing about the terrific and wonderful work God is doing in Borneo.
He writes: “I don’t mind travelling throughout the country wherever the Lord leads me. I will charge no-one and will sleep anywhere. My passion is the Lord and challenging His church to get actively involved in World Missions. I want to have as many meetings as possible in as many different places as possible. I would like to fill every day, morning, afternoon & evening.”
Ronny obviously talks about the work at the Living Waters village, however his message also includes a clear challenge to consider the wider field of oversees mission. His heart is that all may be provoked to consider God’s word and leading for their lives, wherever that may be.
