Valued Generation Catwalk Fashion Show

On July 12th at 19.30 Youthnet will be presenting the Valued Generation Catwalk, a summer Fashion Show that does not idolise or degrade, instead celebrates creativity; integrity and true beauty!

Youthnet is a network of youth work based from Kings Church Great Yarmouth. Our youth meet on a Friday evening and predominantly serves the Cobholm, Southtown and surrounding areas, with youth aged from 12-18 attending

The fashion show is a showcase of collections one off outfits, designed, customised, recycled and presented by the youth, in a fresh and energetic way. It will also include an international collection, which will consist of donated items from different continents as a celebration of the growing diversity in the area.

This event is more than JUST a fashion show. Throughout the show there will be snippets of the journey that the youth are making towards a life that will not put up with following a society that promotes a life of materialism; sex; drugs; extreme diets and thoughtless living

The fashion show is aimed to empower our Youth to be all they can be! To develop and promote creativity; integrity; identity; and true beauty. We hope that our enthusiasm and practical demonstration will also stir those who see the show

The show will be fun, energetic and appropriate for all ages, with a message that is too important to be ignored, especially by our young people and the adults that support and guide them. We would love you to support and encourage the youth by being a part of this evening

All proceeds will be used to develop youth work in the Great Yarmouth area.
