Methodists say Thanks and Farewell

1. to present cheques to the Air Ambulance and Shelter from the proceeds of  "Blessed Be"  at the Marina Centre earlier this year.  Both charities were represented to receive their cheques;
2. the presentation of Long Service Certificates to local preachers, Mr Cyril Westgate - Acle - 70 years, posthumously to the late Mr Ernest Bensley - Caister - 50 years and Mrs Bessie Grimes - Magdalen Way Church and Mr R. Oxer - Catfield - both 40 years of service;
3. the third purpose was to say farewell and God Speed to Rev Ian Worsfold who is moving to Nuneaton following 5 years of ministry in the local area.
