Francis Haylett has passed away aged 97 years
The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Gorleston is in mourning over the loss of a very dear and much loved sister, Francis Haylett . Francis was born on 4th June 1911 and passed away on 21st September 2008.
Francis and her husband Bob met in 1931; their relationship began with a walk  along Gt Yarmouth beach which blossomed into love and marriage. They became Adventists and worked very hard for the church and were involved in the planting of the Yarmouth Church in Burnt Lane.
Francis and Bob worked on Lord Somerleyton’s estate for most of their lives and lived in one of the estate’s houses. Bob passed away a few years ago and Francis carried on until she became too frail to live alone and went to live in a home just a few months ago.
Francis will be remembered for her love and the joy she brought to everyone’s lives and of course that beautiful smile.
The funeral will take place at the Gorleston Seventh-day Adventist Church on 30th September 2008 at 2.30pm and 4pm at the Crematorium.
