Latest News from BMS World Mission 02/10/08
Happy Birthday BMS! It was 216 years today that the Baptist Missionary Society - or more precisely, The Particular Baptist Society for Propagating the Gospel amongst the Heathen - was born. (BMS World Mission rolls off the tongue a little easier!)
Whilst many things have changed over two centuries, our mission has remained the same: to serve those in spiritual and practical need in the name of Jesus Christ.
New articles on the website this week reflect this. Read about the work amongst earthquake survivors in Peru and African immigrants in Italy. Watch the outreach amongst non-Christians in France in L'Eglise episode 3. And pray for the work by downloading the new prayer guide. You'll find links for these and other items below
