Discipleship in Tanzania
Over 1,000 people attended an open-air event and a similar number came to see a Christian film in Mah9552162151679a4d480maka, Tanzania.

The week-long evangelism campaign took place in Mahaka and the surrounding villages, where we fly as part of our regular monthly safari.

More than 470 people showed an interest in the Gospel, with 12 people being baptised – including a witchdoctor.

Following these events, we flew another evangelist to Mahaka to spend a week discipling the new Christians and others who had heard the message.

New homes in Bangladesh
Volunteers for Habitiat for Humanity have completed 230 out of the 500 new homes they are building this year in Mirzaganj, Bangladesh.

Mirzaganj was badly affected by the cyclone last year with many people losing their homes.

During the building work, one of the builders, Wesley, suffered an injury to his arm which became badly swollen and infected.

Our aircraft was quickly able to transport him to hospital in Dhaka, where he had surgery to clear the infection.

This saved him a 13-hour ferry journey.

Pilot Chad Tilley shares, ‘Habitat for Humanity is very grateful to MAF for the partnership and for the flight support they receive.’

Reopened airstrip in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)
Pilot Joey Lincoln reopened the airstrip in Andulu, deep in the rainforests of eastern DRC.

The strip was last used in 1996.

The local church worked hard to clear the airstrip in anticipation of the arrival of an American team.

The team from an Assemblies of God church in California arrived in Andulu to spend 2 ½ weeks ministering to children and young people.
