Valentine's event for women
Alternative Valentine's event for women in mid Norfolk
Women who have been through difficult or painful relationships, will have the opportunity to attend an alternative Valentine's day event in Mid Norfolk - a relationship-building workshop, run by Christian life skills coach Joanne Robinson.
The workshop in Dereham on February 14 is aimed at women who want to rebuild their self esteem, confidence and communication skills. It will focus on how to build healthy and fulfilling relationships.
The morning will be led by Joanne Robinson (pictured right), founder of coaching and training company Donna Intera - Italian for "whole woman".
Saturday February 14
11.30am - 1pm
The Main Hall, Wellspring Family Church, Dereham, Norfolk
Joanne explains: "Learning how to attract or develop healthy relationships starts with how whole and complete we feel when we are not in a relationship. We can build that sense of wholeness by tackling our existing beliefs and values, relationship patterns, how past experiences and traumas are currently affecting our behaviours and what expectations and assumptions we have about love."
Joanne Robinson is a qualified counsellor and has experienced the effects of hurtful relationships. She says, "My sense of self worth was so low that I found myself in a downward spiral of getting into one bad relationship after another until I learned to break the cycle."
Donna Intera was established nearly four years ago and initially started as a web-based service through which Joanne offered counselling and coaching services to women. Joanne runs on-site workshops and courses, the first of which is “How to express your feelings assertively” in Dereham on Thursday February 26.
Those who want to consult with Joanne Robinson or attend the Valentine's event or workshop can visit her website at www.donnaintera.co.uk. Or call 07944 577 754.
