A Night to be Unforgotten

Unite has joined up with Gorleston Baptist Church to arrange a night to remember, with the local band Unforgotten

This is a local band with local boys but have a reputation and quality that is sure to take them so much further. Unforgotten is a 3 piece band from Lowestoft who formed at the beginning of 2008. The Band consists of Tom (guitar), Jack (bass) and Kieran (drums). They describe themselves as an indie/punk band but follow God and worship God through their music. All of the members of the band love their role in what they do. U4G were just playing cover songs but are now progressing to writing their own music, now they are more comfortable playing at gigs and events. Many people have encouraged the band to play and try out different songs such as YFriday and other famous artists, and Unforgotten is hoping to play and worship with people around churches in Lowestoft and maybe further in the near future

Matt Gooch, director of Unite explains “we were delighted to be asked to help to support this event; it is an idea that has come completely from young people. It is so exciting to see young people taking this initiative and for it to be focused on an evening to worship God. We are sure it is going to be such a great night providing a great opportunity to get an existing youth group or friendship group together or even to invite new friends to”

The gig is going to held on Sunday 24th May in the rear hall at Gorleston Baptist Church, doors will open 19:30 with the entertainment starting at 20:00. Tickets are only £3:50 and are available in advance from Alison on 01493 662263 or 07733143660 or buy them on the door
