Paul Juby returns from Far East Travels
Paul Juby - Founder of Norfolk Stedfast. Hon National President. Hon Vice-President Boys'Brigade in Malaysia. Authour of "Laugh With The Lord" and "The Road To Jesus Is Never Closed" and evangelical Methodist lay preacher
I have just returned from an annual trip to meet Boys' Brigade members and Stedfast members - the BB Alumni: and have already hosted the Stedfast Annual AGM in Great Yarmouth. Visits were made to Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney,Perth. Then on to Hong Kong where I visited the new theme park, "Noah's Ark" which opened 1st April. It is built to Biblical measurements and run by the YMCA/BB and other Christians. Inside on the 1st floor is "Anchor House" with a seminar theatre for training courses and the top floor, half is a hostel for trainees and half is a four star hotel !
Then to Borneo for my 4th climb of the highest mountain in South East Asia, Mount Kinabalu which is over 13,000 feet high. This climb is done every three years as a sponsored climb for raising funds for BB Asia. Taking part were eight BB members from Hong Kong and ten from Singapore and Malaysia. The weather let us down with torrential rain making climbing the rocks slippery. This was to be my last climb due to age(78) and my two artificial hips which have done me well. At 11,000 feet there is a hostel perched on the rocks. Unforunately I had to decide not to go on to the peak due to breathing problems and waited at the hostel for the party to return from that part of the climb and then we spent a night there before descending. A good spell of fellowship. The Malaysian BB is doing very well. Their largest BB Company in Sibu (Borneo) has 600 Boys - a problem when they want to attend their Church. One of my old Companies held a Gospel Service recently when 92 made decisions for Christ. Wonderful !

I have read his latest book " The Road to Jesus is Never Closed" and I really got to know the real Paul Juby> Congrayulations Paul on your recent climb.
