Diving Deeper into God

 

Following the success of recent Springboard worship events, Unite is really pleased to announce that Springboard is going monthly

 

Matt Gooch, Director of Unite explains, “Springboard events have been really encouraging as they provide worship through which young people have been able to engage with God, and provide relevant teaching focused on the 11 – 18 years olds who attend. Our biggest struggle has been the lack of continuity of the evenings. As a result, we are taking the step of going monthly”

 

Springboard will be held on the second Saturday of every month starting at 19:30 at Park Baptist Church, Great Yarmouth. It will be full of the same madness, worship and teaching as it always has been, but there will be a lot more time of sung worship. There will also be a brand new feature: a Lumin8 café straight after the event, giving the young people a chance to hang out and grab a hot chocolate and perhaps get involved in even more madness

 

This year, our theme is Deep into Deep, looking at how we are created with a Deep desire to get Deep into the heart of God. Issues that we will look at this term will include; Prioritising God, Forgiveness, Overcoming Barriers and more. Danny Ellero, Springboard worship leader explains “The thing I have enjoyed about Springboard is the diverse way we have learnt who God is and what He has to say about a huge range of issues”

 

Springboard is planned entirely by young people for young people. This year the planning group is really encouraging youth groups and young people to get the dates into their diaries earlier and to consider it as part of their monthly activities
