Special prayer request from Wendy Bircham
Please pray for Wendy, Brian and Simon as they visit Nepal shortly to meet the street children who now live a  t the Morning Star Children's home. Wendy inherited the home from her parents Harold and Barbara Blake (you can read the full story by clicking onto the link in the left hand margin).
Wendy would be very grateful if everyone would pray for her. They have a busy schedule and a lot to sort out.

Please pray that the Box of Clothes and school bags etc which have been organised to arrive in advance. This will be sent out via UPs England and Wendy and her family have been praying that they will be delivered safely to the home. This prayer has now been answered - praise to the Lord for he is good!
Itinerary:-
- Meet the Children and distribute gifts and presents to each child.
- Do a check on the house and assess what requires repairing and what needs to be replaced
- Purchasing items for the home and the children.
- Take photographs and collecting data on the children.
- Generally spend time with the children, and make sure they have all that they need.
Wendy has a very busy schedul planned
I am to visit The Bible Society Branch in Kathmandu. Bibles had been purchased by the Lowestoft Branch of the Bible Society. I want to arrange and se  e the delivery of 60 Bibles to our Home. I am hoping to meet and see some of the many children living on the streets, and re- visit the “stone chippers” to see if I can do anything to help them and their children. These are women who live and work chipping stones for the repair of roads they probably earn 2p a day
I have two appointments booked in the evenings in a Hotel . One is with a journalist from the  Himalayan Times and the other a Christian lady from ADRA Nepal/ Nepal Rotary club ( hoping for help to purchase the Van). Women chipping stones
We are planning to go to Church with the Children and spend all day with them. We are then hoping to travel to Pokhara for a few days. I am hoping to meet a Christian Organization who might be able to supply an internet café in Morning Star. (Thus preventing the children going into
Kathmandu to use their internet cafes with no parental control).
On Return to Kathmandu I will spend the rest of the time with the children.

Please pray for our children in Morning Star. For our house parents Bishnu and Muna
- And Please Pray for our Son Simon ( he’s our photographer ) Simon is staying on in Nepal to Climb the lower peaks of Everest taking 3 to 4 weeks to trek. He will be taking photographs which we intend to show back in the UK at studios and at exhibitions to raise money for the home.
We are hoping to purchase a much needed van which is desperately required to transport the children and to collect food etc for the home. Please pray that we will be able to find one. Our budget is £3,000 and that is the limit!
