Get your Diaries out - Unite has gone event-mad!!!!!

Unite has put together a jam-packed term of activities over the next few months; your feet won't have touched the ground by the time you’re eating your Christmas turkey

Springboard
October 10th, November 14th and December 12th – After popular demand Springboard has gone monthly! With our new in-house worship band and all activities planned and delivered by young people for young people, this is a brilliant opportunity to find out more about God, worship Him and spend time with friends. The hot chocolate is something else!!
Come along at 19:30 to Park Baptist Church and head upstairs

The Band With No Name
October 23rd is Gig-night at Norwich Cathedral with “Thebandwithnoname” - one of the country's biggest Christian bands. Come along and join hundreds of other young people from across the region for what will prove to be one of the best events to hit Norfolk for a long time. Tickets would normally cost £10 but the first 45 people who book through us and are from the borough of Great Yarmouth we will give you the ticket for just £8.00 and we will throw in free coach travel there and back – what a bargain!!!. To book your place call the Unite office on 01493 857722 or 01493 662263

TREAT with Taste
When a lot of people think about Unite they think about some of the crazy stuff that has been done, like sticking heads down a toilet or picking up Rice Krispies using their butter-covered faces. This is all thanks to the alternative Hallowe’en event called TREAT. This year we are getting together with the Taste from Viz-a-viz Ministries in Essex. The event held at Gorleston Baptist Church will be one that isn't going to be forgotten in a hurry. Make sure you get it in your diary - it's free entry but you might want a little spending money
Don't wear your best clothes and be warned it's not for the faint-hearted!!!

The Glitterball
In contrast to Taste, Unite does know how to put on a sophisticated evening and to prove it, we run the Glitterball every year. It's a chance to dress up - smart black tie and ball gowns if possible - enjoy a three course meal and dance the night away in front of a live band and house DJ
This year the ball will be on the 19th December at Kings Church, Great Yarmouth. This is always a “sell out” event so reserve your tickets now by calling the Unite office on 01493 857722 or 01493 662263

Youth Alpha
Don't forget Youth Alpha is running every Monday at Magdalen Way Methodist Church from 7pm – 9pm. We had a great time on Monday but it really doesn't matter if you have missed any sessions; come along, it will be great to see you. It provides a great chance for us all to explore the Christian faith and ask all those difficult questions about life
