BMS today launches its appeal to churches and individuals to support Team Nicaragua at the Street Child World Cup in South Africa, which kicks off in two months' time.

Across the Caribbean Sea from Nicaragua, the world's eyes are on Port-au-Prince, the capital city of Haiti, which was shattered by Tuesday's earthquake. Tens of thousands have been killed, with an estimated three million people there affected.

Summer Teams 2010
Is God calling you for a new adventure this summer? This summer BMS is sending a Summer Team to Delhi to work with our partner organisation Anusaran - who work to give women and children opportunities to live life to the full without any discrimination. If you join the team you will be helping to teach basic English, maths and crafts in a school alongside Anusuran staff. You will also get involved with women's empowerment projects and a local church. Anyone who is a committed Christian and between 18-74 years old are welcome to apply. The deadline is 12 March with a selection day on 20 March 2010 - so if you feel God is calling you, we would love to hear from you today
