Network Yarmouth web reaches out to the world

by Yvonne Hill
If you think that this website is only read by local people or Christians then you need to think again! We have received responses from far away places such as India, South Africa, the USA, Africa, the Congo, the Shetland Isles and of course from all over the UK.
Recently there was a special message for Wendy Bircham on the forum. This came from one of the children who grew up at The Morning Star Children’s Home in Nepal. This person was one of the children who was cared for by Wendy’s parents many years ago. This was very encouraging for Wendy and she was quite excited by it.
Wendy recently visited Nepal with her husband Brian and son Simon. She has a wonderful story to share and she would love to come and talk with you and share their experiences. You can contact her on 01493 667999 or b_and_bircham@hotmail.com to make a booking..
Wendy’s Parents were missionaries and teachers with the Baptist Missionary Society and the United Mission to Nepal in 1987. They felt a great deal of distress and concern by the plight of abandoned and destitute children of Kathmandu.
These children were living and sleeping on the streets or around the temples and even inside old houses. As time went on the children’s physical, mental and emotional development became severely hampered. This situation soon became a new street culture and the children were known as the street children.
We are also in the process of providing a new service so that if you have a business you will be able to advertise it on the business services page for a very reasonable cost. There will be different levels of this service and for a little bit more you can have your advert placed on our sister website Network, Norwich and Norfolk also. If you are interested and would like to receive a media pack please contact Judith Edmonds on bwcf@keme.co.uk or judith.edmonds@ntlworld.com.
The Network Yarmouth web team are only too happy to publish your stories, news, charities, and events or if you need prayer support then we will be able to provide this service to you for free. We can also help you with your articles and take photos if required. If you need us to come to your event we can usually arrange this.
Please note that our contact details are on the home page all you have to do is click into the links!
You do not know who is reading your story or who it may be giving support to!
