Addictions are a misery to the individuals and families trapped by them, and often a mystery to everyone else.
Taken by LFTW – their objective is to provide training that is both Biblical an d professional, enabling church workers and volunteers to be as well equipped as any to address these issues, and to be able to work with other local agencies and with their community. Secondly through the training we want to emphasise the role we believe the local church has to bring care and healing into fractured lives, families and communities that have been damaged by addictions
This awareness day - enables many more people from the local church to learn about addiction issues and the part that every Christian can play in caring for individuals and their families caught up in addictive behaviours. At the same time the course encourages the support of local Christian projects and provide ideas for future initiatives in working with marginalised people.
