Valued Generation Catwalk Presents...VGC10
Much more than just a Fashion Show
A celebration of the creativity of The Youth of Great Yarmouth
On Saturday 10th July Youthnet will be
presenting VGC10, their second Fashion
Show. The show is aimed to be a
celebration of the talents and creativity
of the Youth of Great Yarmouth
Five of the six collections being presented are designed and made by youth of the local area, the sixth collection of Youthnet merchandise will be presented by the Youthnet Leaders! The collections will be interspersed with snapshots of the hopes and visions of the youth and team, as well as a few other special features
The heart of Youthnet, King’s Church and the Valued Generation Catwalk is to see youth reach their full potential, to equip and support them. Our youth are growing up in a media driven society, which fills them with unhealthy images about how they should look and dress, as well as providing many damaging celebrity role models that suggest they haven’t made it in life until they’ve been through rehab! In the run up to VGC10 we are particularly focusing on building foundations of integrity, authenticity and modesty to help them develop towards their potential as individuals.
Please come and join us for what we hope to be a fun and empowering evening, suitable for all ages. All proceeds will go to support youth to go to Newday, a Christian Youth camp in August. For more information about Newday and why its important for us to take as many youth as possible, please check out their website ( www.newdaygeneration.org).
Doors open 6pm, show starts 6.30pm at The King’s Centre. Admission is £3 (Free for under 12’s). A welcome reception will be available on arrival from 6pm, and the show will be followed by refreshments
