A big thank you to Nick Symeou!
Wendy Birc ham was pleased to receive a cheque from Nick Symeou after he competed in the London Marathon earlier this year. Wendy would like say how much Nick's efforts are appreciated and she would like to give him a big thank you.
Wendy inherited the home from her parents which is a big responsibility. There are approximately 59 children most of them have lost their parents and were found in the streets.
This was Nick’s 13th London Marathon and an incredible achievement, especially as just 48 hours before the race he was stuck in Hong Kong stranded due to the Iceland volcano ash cloud. However, God answered our prayers and Nick was able to get a flight back to the UK just before the marathon. Nick completed the full 26 gruelling miles in just in 4hrs 48min.
