This coming Monday 4th April is our next ‘Prayer for Revival’ meeting in Great Yarmouth. Revival is taking place in Mobile, Alabama, USA. Dave Weeks, pastor of City Church Great Yarmouth visited the revival in November. On his first night there, Nathan Morris, the evangelist God is using, suddenly prophesied revival in Norwich, UK! He did not know Dave, nor did he know anyone from a church based in Norwich was there. A few moments later Nathan Morris approached Dave and called him out to pray for him, and that in a crowd of some 1500 people! Following this, the churches in Norwich are getting together on a regular basis to pray for revival in Norwich and across the region. Because of Dave’s involvement with all that happened we believe that God wants revival in the whole region. To this end we are holding ‘Prayer for Revival’ meetings in Great Yarmouth on the same dates as they are getting together in Norwich. Discussions are also going on with other towns and cities in the Anglian region to have corresponding prayer meetings on the same days
Our recent ‘prayer for revival’ drew some 60 people from different churches across the town. Our prayer is that Park Baptist will be full on this occassion as more churches join in with this exciting initiative. We are praying that these prayer meetings will become so successful that we will have to move to bigger premises! Would it not be great if churches from across the whole Borough would join in and prayer for revival here in Great Yarmouth? Remember, it is when brothers dwell together in unity that God commands His blessing. If all the churches in the Borough came together as one, and cried out to God for revival, how can He refuse?
