Last Saturday we held the first of our Healing on the Streets (HOTS). A dozen of us went out, on this occasion representing seven different churches from within the Borough. It was a very exciting time with a steady flow of people being prayed for. We had some excellent conversations with people and gave out numerous leaflets explaining who we were, what we were doing, and when we would be there
We met at St Nicholas’ Church at 9.00am for prayer and then headed for the Market Place from 10.00am until 12 noon
We set up outside the old Co-op in the Market Place. We put up our banners and in between placed some chairs for people to sit on whilst being prayed for
There was a really good feel about what we were doing, and it was especially good to see folk from different churches working together
We came away feeling very excited at how well the morning had gone, and we look forward to our next outing
A special ‘thank you’ to those who were praying for us. Some prayed at St Nicholas' while we were out, and I know others were praying from home. We strongly believe that prayer and prayer support is the key to what we are doing, so please keep praying for us. If anyone wants to come to St Nicholas’ Church to pray on the occasions we are out, then please do so: it is so encouraging for us
Dates for HOTS in September are:
Saturday 3rd
Wednesday 7th
Saturday 17th
