Prayer for Revival

Last Monday, 10th October, we had our latest 'Prayer for Revival' meeting. Following the prophetic words from Cindy Jacobs and Dutch Sheets in recent months, namely that there will be healings and miracles alongside the revival that we believe is coming, we changed the format of the evening on this occasion. We began with a good time of worship, which was led for the first time by the Unite band

Following this, to encourage our faith, Dave Weeks read an article concerning what God has been doing in recent days in New Life Church in Hull.  If you want to read it for yourself, go to Zachsdad's Blog. The presence of God has been phenomenal there since Nathan Morris' visit, with people being healed, saved, and many experiencing the power of God. We then had a general time of prayer for revival as we all prayed out together. This was followed by individuals praying out for God to move upon our Borough. We then organised ourselves into small groups to pray, firstly for each other’s churches, that God would send revival to them, and then for the churches in the Borough who were not represented on that evening

Dave Weeks then shared about our need to be out witnessing and praying for people now, even as we are waiting on God to send revival. “Pray for God to move, go out and witness and pray forthe sick, come home, pray, attend the prayer meetings, go out again and witness and pray forthe sick, come home, pray, attend the prayer meetings, go out again....and see what God willdo, and keep doing this until revival comes, and then continue to do it!”

At this point, we gave some time over to pray for those who needed healing. To begin with, the senior Pastors who were there came to the front, and as a sign of unity began praying together for those who had responded for healing. As more came out for prayer, the HOTS team joined in to pray for people

It was an excellent evening, with the presence of God very real

Can I encourage you to come to the next 'Prayer for Revival' meeting which is on Monday 7th November, 7.30pm at Park Baptist Church
