Another Excellent Prayer for Revival Meeting
We had another excellent Prayer for Revival meeting on Monday 7th November. Once again the 'Unite' band led us in a good time of worship. It was a great evening, with a growing sense of anticipation that God is at work. This was enforced with being informed there are now four 'Prayer for Revival' centres, namely, Norwich, Carlton Rode, Great Yarmouth and now Fakenham. The latter drawing in churches from the north of the region
Derrick Hill (Park Baptist Church) got the prayer time under way by asking the question “Can we say we have done enough to ensure others have heard the Gospel, and so have a chance to respond to it?”
With this in mind, a brilliant video clip was then shown depicting the fact that all around us there are people in need, and we can be oblivious to this. Everyone then split up into small groups to pray for each other that we would be enabled to share our faith with others. Prayer was also made that we would be more discerning with where people were so we could minister to them more effectively

As you may be aware, God has been moving powerfully in New Life Church in Hull. Jarrod Cooper is the leader there and he has been putting information on his blog. Go to 'Zachsdad blog' to keep up to date with what God has been doing there. Some years ago Jarrod Cooper had a vision that God was going to move by His Spirit across this land and that stadiums would be full, healings and miracles would take place, government leaders would be asking 'What must I do to be saved', the media would be showing Christian meetings on ordinary TV channels etc. He wrote a song called 'Days of Wonder' which was based on this vision. Having explained all this, we then played the song

This was followed by a time of crying out to God, both collectively, and individually, that God would move by His Spirit among us, send revival, and that we would have 'days of wonder' among us!
Andy Moss shared his belief that God was not only working in the church in these days, but also in the 'world'. As we believe for revival to impact our whole community, we then spent time praying for our schools, colleges, council and the local media
The evening finished by praying for Mary Ives and the work of the YMCA as they seek to work towards setting up the 'Two Bears' project, having some mountains still to climb!
The next 'Prayer for Revival' meeting is on Monday 9th January at 7.30pm at
Park Baptist Church, 14A Crown Road, Great Yarmouth, NR30 2JN
