The Salvation Army will be carolling with World!

On the 18th Decchoirember 2011 at 7pm churches and individuals up and down the country will take part in an attempt to smash the current Guiness World Record for the largest number of people singing carols together across multiple locations. It is hoped that at least 15,000 people around the world will be singing carols.  Participants will be required to sing for 15 minutes and sing the following carols in the same order:-

Silent Night, O Come All Ye Faithful, O little Town of Bethlehem, Away in a Manger and Hark the Herald Angels Sing
The Salvation Army in Gt Yarmouth is planning to incorporate this into their Evening Service which starts at 6pm and the carolling will start at 7pm. There are some things that they need to do to ensure that they are following the rules:-

              1. They need to have someone to take some still photos of the attempt
              2. We need someone to film the attempt and supply this footage as proof

If you would like to help in any way, then please contact Rob Symonds at great.yarmouth@salvationarmy.org.uk  Tel: 01493 858 069 Mble: 07771 207 187
Everybody is welcome to come to the 6pm service and to help with the singing

Make sure that you put 18th December at 6pm in your diary
