Cliff Park Community Church this Christmas
Cliff Park Community Church will be heading off to Gorleston Pavilion on Sunday 18th December for the annual Carols and Coffee. This year for the first time the Great Yarmouth Junior Brass will lead the singing of favourite carols, under their conductor Richard Ward
Members of the Cliff Park Kids Church will take part in the opening sequence and the service will also include puppets and a pantomime-themed sermon from church member Donna Dodson. Tony Mallion will host the event and will be interviewing some of the church young people who have been working in overseas missionary activities – including Andrew Roberts who will be flying back from the Hebron School in India just in time to take part
Coffee and mince pies will be available in café style throughout. The service starts at 10.30am with the auditorium doors opening at 10am to allow for rehearsals, admission and refreshments are free. The church will also provide its own ‘hoover patrol’ to ensure that all crumbs and mess are cleared up soon after the service ends so the theatre is ready for the afternoon matinee of the current pantomime Cinderella
Cliff Park Community Church, which was started by St Andrew’s and Gorleston Baptist Churches 12 years ago, normally meets at Cliff Park Junior School. The church will return there on Sunday evening for a Cliff Park Christmas Praise at 7pm led by the church worship band and followed by refreshments. There is also a family style service on Christmas Eve at 4 pm
