Help needed to convert bus into mobile Norfolk church

Norwich’s Radical Church is appealing for secure parking for a double decker bus and is calling for skilled volunteers to help them complete the vehicle’s refurbishment so it can be used as a mobile church venue for Norfolk’s rural communities

HOPE BUS 2017

RADICAL BUS 1Matt Richards, the Senior Pastor of Radical Church in Norwich, is putting out an unusual request for skilled volunteers who would be willing to help complete the renovation of a double decker bus so it can be used as a mobile church venue for outreach in rural Norfolk. Matt is also appealing for secure, free, legal parking for the double decker bus in Norwich

Matt said: “Radical Church has kindly been donated a double decker bus! How crazy is that?  Radical intends, with help, funding, and faith, to complete the work and use the bus to bring Jesus to the villages of Norfolk like a church on wheels. This resource will be a blessing to many. What an adventure!”

RADICAL BUS 2

The bus was donated to Radical Church from TLC GY ministry in Great Yarmouth, who had previously received the bus from Stagecoach when it came out of operation.  TLC GY in liaison with Yarmouth Technical College have completed some of the work of renovation including fitting new electrics, CCTV, new seat fabric, new tables and a repaint

Matt Richards started Radical Church in 2013 as a church for the marginalised, targeting those who don’t conventionally fit into “normal” middle class congregations.  He is driven by evangelistic outreach and has a heart to reach out to the lost.  He has faith that the bus, which he is calling, ‘The Glorious Jesus Bus’, will further this mission

If you can help Matt with his project to convert the bus, please give him a call on 07833 498 562 or email mattbeth7180@yahoo.com
