Funding for faith communities

The Faith Communities Capacity Building Fund is part of the Government's Improving Opportunity and Strengthening Society strategy.

The fund supports the Government's aim to help faith communities promote understanding and dialogue, helps faith-based groups to develop their capacity for such work, and supports better Government engagement with faith groups in developing and delivering policies.

The fund also supports the Government's aim to help different groups promote a tolerant society in which all groups can resolve differences in a framework of mutual respect and fairness.
