Yarmouth Minster leads national online service
Great Yarmouth Minster hosted and led the Church of England weekly online Sunday service this week
The act of worship was available on the national Church of England website, Facebook page and Youtube channel from 9 a.m. on Sunday July 27. It was recorded in July in the Great Yarmouth Minster building and included shots from other locations across Great Yarmouth including the Golden Mile and the Minster Mission building where the Pathway Café is held. The service was led by Revd Canon Simon Ward with a talk by Mother Ashley Hines based on the gospel reading from Matthew chapter 16 and the theme “who do you say that I am?” A choir from St Nicholas Priory CE VA Primary School was also featured, singing “In Christ Alone”
Great Yarmouth Minster is England's largest parish church, and is part of the parish of Great Yarmouth which also includes St Paul's Newtown and St Mary's Southtown
