I used to attend this church and sunday school and sing in the choir my nanny brown used to be in the congragation singing. I have fond memories of this Sunday school, walking down the passages on the way home reciting passages that needed to be recited.
As a child attending this church I did learn that it pays to be kind and treat others as you would like to be treated yourself I had no real care ,for the God, and why was I sent to this church when my parents never attended.
In 1950's after war religion did change . At this moment in time I do not have religious beliefs but feel that attending this church gave me a love and grounding and care for people.
Have fond memories of this church and my sister married there.

i lived in the village as john brown;s daughter and was a SONGER my step father John Brown brought me up as one of his own children, we were all treated the same.
the Browns in Caister were mostly lifeboatmen and fishermen, coming from winterton or hemsby.
The BROWN Brothers from Caister 10 of them are a legiond to Caister on Sea. They fought in Dunkirk and were truly a legend in history.
At Caister or Yarmouth when you mention the Brown name most are related from past
