Churches Together Hope 08

What is Hope 08?
Hope 08 is a Nation-wide initiative to which our Churches Together is signing up. It will provide us with resources and encouragement to see our Purpose statement fulfilled. This is their dream:
All over the UK churches will work together like never before...engaging in mission initiatives that will impact the whole community...bringing words of truth and acts of service to many 1000's of people across the UK. There will be many schools and university missions, fun days, bbq's, kids clubs, estate clean-ups and much, much more.
Purpose Statement:
Churches Together have the following dream for Hope 08:
- to motivate the church for Mission and see the renewal of Christian people;
- to engage with our community, present them with the Gospel and to bring individuals to have a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ.
Hope 08 is endorsed by leaders of many major denominations
“...a really remarkable vision...I thank God for the inspiration that has driven it and wish every blessing to all involved.” Rowan Williams
“... a tremendous catalyst for encouraging and resourcing churches of all traditions to raise their game in community service.” David Coffey
“I wholeheartedly recommend this grassroots initiative as a way of empowering local Churches to be bold in living and proclaiming the Gospel in our society.” Cormac Murphy O'Connor
