Chocolate and worship at new youth event
A free chocolate fountain and worshipping God are two of the attractions being offered at Springboard, the latest event to be launched by Unite east Norfolk's brand new youth project.
Springboard is the name given to what will become a regular youth service for young people from the ages of about 11 – 18ish. The first one is going to be held at Park Baptist church,14A Crown Road, Great Yarmouth, on June 23, it will be planned, organised and delivered by young people for young people.
Matt Gooch, co-ordinator of Unite, said: “Whole youth groups right through to individuals are more than welcome to come, it might be particularly suitable for those young people that may feel a little isolated in their own church, or those that sometime feel they are the only Christian young person in the world.
“We are going to try to experiment with things at Springboard, we want to discover different ways of worshipping God, learn how to express all that God means to us and get excited about telling others about him.”
As if the idea of an evening worshipping God wasn't enough to entice young people, there will also be something else that just can't be resisted, you guessed it chocolate fountains!
The evening will start at 7.30pm for those who want to partake in free chocolate, the service itself will start at 8pm.
If you are between 11 – 18 why not consider giving it a look, or if you have young people in your church take them. If you need more information contact Matt on 07747 471219
