If kings churchwe were to ask you who is the last person you would expect to see out clubbing in Great Yarmouth what would your answer be? We imagine you would tell us your grandparents, Elvis Presley or someone completely rat andom.

What if we were to tell you that you have been with Jesus? Would you think we had gone crazy? As Christians we believe that where ever we go we have the presence of Jesus with us. Jesus said “I’ve come to give you life and live in you.”

Many people have the perception that Christians don’t go out, they’re really boring and it’s not very likely that you would see them clubbing. Actually the truth is that many do enjoy going out, having a drink, a dance and enjoying themselves. The difference is that we know there is more to life than going out and that it doesn’t completely satisfy

If Jesus were physically here today He would most likely accept your icross in skynvite to go out simply because He enjoys being with you. We suspect He would become the focus of the night and you would realize he is the “life of the party”.  H is not there for the drink or the music and not to tell people that it is wrong (mainly because going out with your mates isn’t wrong), about to meet people and explain to them that He alone can completely satisfy our needs. Many people go out to get drunk, have sex and for other temporary pleasures but are still not happy within themselves.

So, if you are someone who can’t seem to find any real satisfaction in life, you’ll be glad to know that there is an invitation to know Jesus and find out who He really is. Those who do this will one day get to go to His great party of all parties. Heaven awaits us!
