Encouraging news from Kosova
The future of Kosova and its multi-ethnic Serb/Albanian population remains a matter of international discussion and concern. Yet, amidst the uncertainty, around 26 evangelical churches, approximately 90 international mission workers and 17 Albanian pastors are seeking to make Jesus known to Albanians and Serbs.
They are much encouraged by the formal recognition given to the "Evangelical Church" in the new Law on Religious Freedom signed by the United Nations authoirites in the land. Thank God for their freedom to worship - and pray that they might be an effective witness to a new and better way!
