TV GP to host Biblical food weekend in Norfolk
A Biblical Food Weekend is being held at the Pleasa unce Christian Holiday Centre near Cromer, led by GP and Revelation TV presenter Dr Laura Richardson, in November.
Health in Focus presenter Dr Richardson will take delegates on a journey to discover:
“God’s Biblical prescription for a healthy body, through what we take into our bodies, what we do to our bodies and what we allow to be done to us.”
Workshops and conference sessions will include: a Biblical and historical overview of diet; what did Jesus eat and drink; men’s diet and lifestyle workshop; women’s diet and lifestyle workshop; the healthy shopping trolley; Biblical hygiene, exercise, complementary therapies, natural remedies, supplements and contraception.
All meals will be made from organic Biblical produce and delegate rates are available from £5 for a single day place to £80 for the whole weekend with accommodation.
The weekend takes places from Friday 16th - Sunday 18th November, at The Pleasaunce, Overstrand, near Cromer in North Norfolk.
The Pleasaunce is a fascinating, Grade 2* listed building, designed for Lord and Lady Battersea by the young Edwin Lutyens in the 1890s. Standing in six acres of secure, private grounds 100 yards from the cliff top, it offers safe, modern play areas for children and delightful gardens in which to stroll, or the sheltered cloister.
With 33 bedrooms The Pleasaunce offers a full range of accommodation for up to 90 people. Bedrooms include ensuite doubles, wins, family rooms for 3 to 6 and single rooms with wash hand basins.
