tongues of fire 2014Ezekiel 1:27 – Also from the appearance of His waist and upward I saw, as it were the colour of amber with the appearance of fire all around within it and from the appearance of His waist downward I saw, as it were, the appearance of fire with brightness all around

We can become this fire

I believe that Jesus Himself is the worship in spirit and truth
When deep calls to deep within worship we are merging with one another. His Spirit burns away our hay, wood and stubble, now, as we engage and stir up His fire. All fire comes from Him. A joining in intimacy between our Maker and us. As we surrender more and more of ourselves more is burnt away, and we taste more of Him. The more we allow his fire to burn and we die, the more we live in Him. The more we are alive. It’s a burning that fills us deep within. It is costly and painful but this precious burning, produces a sweet smelling aroma.  The Holy Spirit burns away our own efforts, anything which is not pleasing to Him
Isaiah 4:4-5 – No man can clean himself up, spiritually. Physically he can wash himself but The Holy Spirit burns away the dross  (also, Job 15:14, Jeremiah 2:22)

God has given to every single believer the ability to create a glory cloud. If we participate with God and allow him to create glory through us, we can create realms, create atmospheres which facilitate God coming in this way
As we are thankful and bless and praise His name, the vapour from your lips can create the glory cloud.  As we praise today we can allow God to create that cloud through us. As we praise, exhale our praise, God inhales our praise.  He then exhales the breath of God upon us. We inhale, get filled with His presence and exhale glory to others
Words and worship that come from our lips are literally like vapours creating a cloud. The cloud pours down on us then creates another praise which goes back up
As I worship vapours are created from my lips, these vapours are opening that cloud of glory to me, to us, this is the pattern or flow of the cycle of Heaven. He gives back, we give to God and God gives back to us, give, give back and the cloud gets bigger and greater.  Job 36:27-28 – For He draws up drops of water, Which distil as rain from the mist, 28 Which the clouds drop down And pour abundantly on man
Whenever we give to heaven, He gives back to us. When Solomon’s Temple was dedicated there was a glory cloud which manifested.  We can see from Job 36 that our words which magnify the Lord create this cloud of praise and worship and can bring his presence. We can't have the rain without the cloud, but if you have the cloud, then you can have the rain. When the rain comes down it pours on many people.  This follows that, if I can create a cloud, then not just me but others can experience the blessing.  When the glory comes in sickness, poverty and despair moves out and the glory fills the temple. Consume us completely Jesus
Fire from within fire from without. God consumes within fire. He is a consuming fire. He burns up all my dross as I lay myself down upon his altar for worship, in worship. I ask to die and offer myself as worship. He hits me with fire to burn, to consume myself and to release me to let go of this fire. God gives me fire to burn back towards him with fire. Fire of burning love. He burns back to me in consuming fire. We burn as one in the flame of love. I am a dead man walking out His purposes and divine plan for my life. If all our flames and fountains are in him the Holy Spirit, we can charge at hell, hell will not prevail against us
On an infinitesimally intricate level, worship is woven into the fabric of glory. We were born to worship. Created to worship Him. Some of us go with the flow of this more than others and I believe that this is dependent on how willing we are to be moulded, shaped, pulled, punched and bled. Change is painful. Burning hurts. It is often relentless. If we are judgemental, legalistic, then we see fire as God’s punishment external and linked to hell. (Leviticus 10:1)  Whereas, the more loving we become, the more we see the fire of God as loving, sacred, desirous. Intimate. All consuming. When we allow HIM in his fire purifies, corrects, cleanses. God's fire produces a love that desires to bring forth healing and restoration. The more we desire to be changed and to be conformed into HIM the less fear we have of the fire
Jesus tells us to kindle the fire of good works and pour it out as coal upon our enemies head: Matthew 5:38-48 and Romans 12:20

The tongues of fire which fell upon the disciples at Pentecost manifested itself in opening their mouths and released them from the fear of man. The fire will make us witnesses.  Exodus 32:28 and Acts 2:41 both Laws were connected with fire, one brought fear wrath and death and the other brought liberty, forgiveness and life. Only divine fire will be able to separate the vile from the Holy. Are Christians today guilty of misusing the fire of God Luke 9:54-56?  When we are filled with God's love and compassion we will spread flames which will melt the hardest of hearts as we will be known by our love one for another. We will be passionate about sharing God's healing joy and love. We will be known by our love for one another.  Perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18) this perfect, fiery love is only found in Christ, not man. Christ's love sets us free from fear from man-made control

The fire will release all who dwell in lower natures, lower thoughts, lower visions and raise them up to where He, our Creator, becomes All in All (1 Corinthians. 15:28)
He is truly the ALL-CONSUMING FIRE!!

Paul implores us to present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God. We are to be consumed by Him and not be destroyed in the process. Our devotion, our zeal, our passion should all be about and to Him
Worship takes different forms: sacrifice, singing and music dancing and drama, prayer. Worship is not defined in scripture but it is in our hearts burning eternally for him. The Psalms are crucial for worship. They were often sung and I sing them. God will use many different ways to melt hearts and turn them to be on fire for him. He can create modern day Psalms for us to sing
