Russian seafarer brought back to safety in Great Yarmouth

A Russian seafarer trying to sail his yacht out of Yarmouth has landed up high and dry on Scroby Sands
The Russian was landed by the lifeboat from Yarmouth around 16.00hrs, and the Port Chaplain, Rev Peter Paine, was called to look after him
Finding accommodation at the Furzedown Hotel for a couple of nights, the Rev Peter Paine has put out a plea for men's toiletries to help this gentleman
