YMCA Norfolk needs a Youth Engagement Worker to join its Youth Clubs' team working across the county


Position: Youth Engagement Worker
Pay: £11.11 per hour (Grade D – £10,398.96 per annum)
Location: Countywide
Contract Type: Fixed term 31st August 2023
Hours per week: 18 hours per week over 4 evenings

We are looking for a Youth Engagement Worker to join our Youth Clubs team!

Job Role: 
  • To deliver four evenings per week of youth work across YMCA Norfolk youth club projects. You will support young people who are taking part in the programmes and ensure their views are respected and listened to, while empowering them to contribute to the activities that they want to take part in

What you’ll need to succeed:
You will have excellent interpersonal skills, sufficient to communicate effectively with a wide range of staff, young people and external contacts. You will have experience of youth participation and involvement, with experience of running small group sessions and activities with young people. You must be willing to work unsocial hours, and hold a full drivers license with your own transport
