Daily Creation Prayer – inspired by Genesis 1

14th August 2019

This is the day that the LORD has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it. Ps 118 124

Creative and dynamic Holy Spirit, please move over me and the good plans you have for me today to the glory of your Holy name  – bring them to fruition.  I speak light into them, let no darkness hinder them.  Let me be quiet to hear and heed your still small voice and not harden my heart
Create space for us to work and fellowship – direct me to the right place and time for the encounters you have prepared and give me the words and boldness to act or speak with your love
Let me stand on the Rock of your word and let me reap abundant good fruit from the word that I and others have sown.  Let me sow the right seed in good soil for the future that will bring forth a hundredfold and bless many
Order my steps in thy word and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.  Ps 119 133

Give me the thoughts and inspiration I need in the daytime, and the revelation at night that I may know the way in the darkness
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Ps 119 105

May my heart be full of your love and your praise on my lips. Thank you for all you have made to live in air or water.  They move by fin or feather - you give to them their food and they are fruitful after their kind. May my thoughts and imagination flow with such grace and energy
You designed the endless forms and function of all creatures, they are amazing and so are you and yet we share your image and your likeness so we can do the works that Jesus did.  Empower me so that I can heed your command to go with my brethren to take the good news.  You are Lord of the harvest
Thank you for saving me when there was no one else to pay the price.  I love you
To you belongs all honour, all praise and all glory.  I worship you forever. Hallelujah!  Amen

The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein
