A team of over a dozen volunteers treated guests to soup, a full roast with all the trimmings and a range of desserts. It was a joyous occasion which was gratefully received by all of the attendees Great Yarmouth Pathway cafe operates three days per week and in 2025 has served over 15,000 hot meals free of charge. An independent charity, working from the Barracks estate in Great Yarmouth, Pathway’s vision is to be a transforming safe space of light, welcome and engagement for the community of Great Yarmouth to support those in need Jennifer King, charity manager said: “Our annual Christmas meal is a highlight on our calendar as we bring together a large group of people to celebrate the festivities with. The meal is always nutritious and delicious, the atmosphere is jovial and all of the staff and volunteers enjoy the day - putting smiles on people’s faces "Serving over 100 guests in just over an hour is no mean feat but thanks to our outstanding chef, Anthony, and team of staff and volunteers who all work so hard - it is a slick operation, full of festive cheer.
