Christmas gifts for Great Yarmouth Seafarers Centre 

The photo alongside shows Captain Steve Roberts, Chairman of the Trustees, handling over cash to Rev Peter Paine, Port Chaplain, which was funds raised by the crew of his ship, the “Seajacks Kraken”

 A Christmas raffle was held on board to raise money for charities, with prizes donated by all the companies and contractors.  The crew make suggestions about where the money should go and all go into a hat.  When drawn Captain Steve’s suggestion of the Seafarers Centre came out!  Therefore, the crew and contractors of the Seajacks Kraken donated the £644 collected

Following receipt of that donation, Rev Peter told the Board of Trustees that the Bradwell Methodist Church Ladies Luncheon Club had presented him with a cheque for £75 as a donation towards the centre
