Enjoy the Magi journey in Gorleston

The Springs Dance Company will be performing their much-loved production Journey of the Magi at St Mary Magdalene Church in Gorleston next week, and tickets are now available.

This performance is inspired by T. S. Eliot’s poem of the same name. Journey of the Magi offers a contemporary comparison between the quest of the wise men 2000 years ago, and our own preparations in the run up to Christmas. This seasonal performance is suitable for all ages—families, schools, community groups, and anyone who enjoys dance, drama, and good storytelling.

Journey of the Magi 500ATThe company says that the performance offers a fresh, fast-paced, witty, yet thought-provoking look at the Christmas story by combining breathtaking movement, poetry, and storytelling.  They promise a soundtrack to keep toes tapping and a feast of dance and drama.

Matthew Price, Vicar of St Mary Magdalene Church, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Springs Dance Company to Gorleston. Journey of the Magi is a powerful, creative retelling of the Christmas story that invites us all to slow down and rediscover hope. It’s a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together at the start of Advent.”
